Hi, Thanks for visiting the blog. shilpa_vinay_travels_and_eats is our Journey around the World and Food. We, Shilpa and Vinay, are Civil Engineer Duo, both work as a Structural Engineers for Qatar Metro Rail Projects with different MNCs’.We are parents for a 7 year old boy Abhyuday and 20 months old girl Aarushi.
Shilpa – I am a Mangalore based Tulu speaking girl born and brought up in Kerala.A Civil Engineer by Profession, an Aspiring Blogger and Mother of Two.
Vinay – My boyfriend earlier and husband now is a hardcore Kannadiga , born and brought up in Bangalore.He is always my partner in crime be it eating, travel or anything around the world.
Our jobs need relocation quite often. So had a chance to explore different places such as Bangalore, Chennai , Delhi and currently based on Qatar.
The blog about food is the inspiration which helps me in cooking and trying new and healthy recipes even after hectic long working hour jobs. Thanks to Vinay and Abhyuday who is ready to try any new dishes. All pictures are clicked with Samsung phones and done in a rush before gulping the dinner after a tiring day.
The blog about travel is our new passion after moving to Qatar. We have visited only few countries.(6 till now). But all the destinations, visas,bookings and itineraries were completely tailored by me and sharing those experiences and information gives some sort of satisfaction.In our blog, you can find the itineraries and things to do and the travel details.
